SUMMARY

This position operates hydraulic presses, assembles hoses, performs various shop and plant duties, and assists the Shop Supervisor. Also responsible for product delivery, pickup, transport, loading, and unloading as directed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducts daily preventive maintenance on presses to ensure proper function.

Maintains clean and organized work area.

Reviews work orders thoroughly before beginning tasks.

Retrieves items for orders and prepares materials for processing.

Cleans components following established procedures.

Assembles customer orders and prepares for shipment.

Inspects materials for quality and accuracy.

Operates hydraulic press equipment.

Cuts and assembles gaskets according to specifications.

Operates various machinery as needed.

Assembles and tests hose and other products.

Operates forklifts in the plant area.

Completes and reviews work orders for accuracy.

Restocks inventory upon completion of work.

Assists with loading and unloading trucks.

Performs additional duties as directed by Supervisor.

Performs machine setup tasks as required.

Prepares machines for operation by securing materials.

Operates and monitors automatic machinery

Supports inventory management as needed.

Supports receiving tasks when required.
