JOB TITLE:

Non-Exempt
This position operates hydraulic presses, assembles hoses, performs various shop and plant duties, and assists the Shop Supervisor. Also responsible for product delivery, pickup, transport, loading, and unloading as directed.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; plus four or 1 or 2 years’ administrative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); and Presentation Software (PowerPoint).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Other Qualifications
Ability to read a ruler and cut a straight line with razor knife on rubber and compressed sheet.
General plant experience to include thorough knowledge of the standard practices, materials, tools, equipment, processes and techniques.
General working knowledge of relevant building and safety codes including pertinent aspects of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
Must complete two training events per year
Job duties involve regular standing, walking, reaching, and occasional manual tasks.
Lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds may be required frequently.
This position necessitates diverse vision abilities including close and distance vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
