SUMMARY

This position focuses on selling corporate products to businesses and industrial establishments, generating sales orders, and promoting growth in existing markets. The Sales Manager also drives expansion into new markets and services by actively pursuing existing and prospective clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides comprehensive customer service from sales to delivery follow-up, ensuring satisfaction.

Expands existing markets across various industries including power generation, food, mining, and more.

Manages incoming sales calls.

Supervises cold calling efforts.

Oversees preparation of sales and expense reports.

Conducts various office tasks such as invoice review and order management.

Engages in outbound calls to customers and prospects.

Compiles lists of potential customers from multiple sources.

Handles incoming sales inquiries and converts them into actual sales.

Addresses technical and business concerns of potential customers.

Sends product quotes to interested customers.

Highlights product features, sets prices, and processes sales orders.

Monitors inventory levels.

Estimates delivery dates based on production and delivery schedules.

Sends invoices for shipped parts to customers.

Updates sales records with shipped parts information.

Prepares reports summarizing business transactions.

Enters new customer and sales data into the database.

Follows up with potential and existing customers via phone and email to qualify leads and promote products.

Assesses customer needs to recommend suitable products and solutions.

Suggests alternative products based on various factors.

Presents pricing and terms aligned with customer preferences.

Provides accurate information on available stock.

Obtains shipment details from vendors for delivery coordination.

Recommends products to enhance customer satisfaction and transaction profitability.

Educates customers on product features and benefits to boost sales and satisfaction.

Monitors shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery.

Contacts customers post-sale to ensure ongoing satisfaction and resolve any issues.

Responds to requests for catalogs, information, or samples.

Stays updated on consumer trends and product developments through various channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university

One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
